Big videos carry on where they stopped, Nextcloud signs in with LibrePortal, and plain http always asks first

LibreSync 0.3.0 is about big files and private connections.

    Big files

    • A film coming down, or a long camera video going up, no longer starts again when the Wi-Fi drops, the phone stops the sync or restarts: it carries on from where it was.
    • Nobody sees half a file meanwhile. A download waits hidden until it is whole; on Nextcloud and ownCloud a big upload goes up in parts and is put together at the end; in a LibrePortal shared folder you may change, it goes up under a hidden name and is put in place once it is all there.
    • Big files go straight to the phone's storage, never through its memory, and Home shows how far a big file has got.

    Nextcloud signs in with LibrePortal

    • On a Nextcloud that uses LibrePortal's sign-in, LibreSync now says so: sign in with LibrePortal in your browser, allow LibreSync, done. Nextcloud gives LibreSync a password of its own, which you can see and remove in Nextcloud's Devices & sessions. Settings shows "Signed in with LibrePortal, through Nextcloud".

    Private connections

    • A padlock shows wherever a server is named: https, or your LibrePortal's VPN, counts as private.
    • LibreSync picks a private address by itself whenever one answers, and only falls back to plain http when nothing private does.
    • Before anything is synced over plain http, with any server (LibrePortal, ownCloud or Nextcloud), LibreSync asks you to switch on "I understand". You can change it in Settings.

    Smaller things

    • An update card that stopped short (a refused download, "Allow from this source" turned down, or Android's installer closed) starts afresh after the next check, including the background one.
    • Each new version installs over the last as an update.

Nothing is ever deleted on your server.
